Canada based rapper, singer-songwriter and actor, Drake has surprised the world by announcing an album named Honestly, Nevermind, out of nowhere. He even announced the tracklist which has around 10 plus songs, making the public go crazy about it.
Drake even inaugurated his new radio show known as Table for One on Sound42 which is meant to be the promotional show for his album. But something that was exceptional and caught everybody’s attention was Drake playing late singer Sidhu Moosewala’s popular songs on his radio show.
Drake played some of his favourite songs on the show and 2 among them were those sung by Sidhu Moosewala, and paid a tribute to the later actor. Drake played ‘295’ and ‘G-shit’ by Sidhu Moosewala on the radio show which was an expected tribute to the artist.
Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in his village Mansa by unknown men in the middle of the day, on 29th May, leaving the entire nation in shock. After the unfortunate incident Drake paid a tribute to the artist by sharing his picture on his IG story.
This was another time the Canadian artist paid tribute and this time by playing Sidhu’s 2 of the most popular songs. Meanwhile, there were a lot of talks about the collaboration of Drake and Sidhu Moosewala as both the artists followed each other on Instagram but destiny chose the other way and it couldn’t happen.
