Thalaivii (2021)

A biopic on the prolific actress-politician and six-time Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J Jayalalithaa, which was supposed to be a hit project as people were awaiting it eagerly. But unfortunately the Rs 75-cr budgeted film went into disaster at the box office and only earned Rs 10-cr.
Panga (2020)

Panga was another Kangana Ranaut failure. It had Jassie Gill and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles, which was based on the world Kabaddi champion, Jaya. However the film went par to the budget (Rs 30-cr) it was created in, but it was still a flop film at the box office as it collected Rs 41.71-cr.
Judgemental Hai Kya (2019)

Released in 2019, Judgemental Hai Kya was not beautifully taken as a film by the audience. Featuring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in the lead characters, this Rs 35-cr budgeted movie was again a disaster as it earned only Rs 44.92-cr.
Simran (2017)

A Rs 30-cr budgeted, romantic drama of a divorcee who faces many things and finally gets into the life of crime, Simran earned Rs 27.7-cr at the box office. The film didn’t do well and went on to become another flop in Kangana’s basket.
Rangoon (2017)

With a rich starcast, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles, the film was poor at the box office. The total budget of this film was Rs 60-cr but it couldn’t succeed in crossing even the 50-cr mark at the box office.
Katti Batti (2015)

This not-so-popular movie of Kangana Ranaut featured actor Imran Khan opposite her. Based on a breakup story of a live-in couple, Katti Batti had a budget of Rs 30-cr and only earned Rs 42.70-cr after its release.
I Love NY (2015)

Another flop movie in Kangana Ranaut’s kitty, I Love NY had Sunny Deol featured opposite the actress. It was a romantic genre movie which did not actually suit the people’s choice and was a disaster at the box office. I Love NY’s initial budget was Rs 15-cr but it only collected Rs 1.5-cr.
Ungli (2014)

Ungli was filled with some rich actors, was estimated to be a hit but eventually got flopped at the box office. Its budget was around Rs 35-cr but it could only collect Rs 29.95-cr at the box office. Released in 2014, Kangana Ranaut’s revolver Rani was also not a well going movie at the box office. Budgeting around Rs 27-cr, the movie could only earn an amount of Rs 11-cr, which was not definitely an amount to be considered for a hit movie.
